This popped up on my FB feed. Now, I remember The Sizzler as being about 2 notches above fast food and one notch above a garden-variety buffet. But to hear this ad, it sounds like Sizzler was planning on saving America from losing its soul, or something.

Also: This is the longest Sizzler ad (hell, the only one, for that matter) I've ever seen..

Am I hallucinating this? I must be hallucinating this...

This is ad is so early 90s. I couldn't take the ad seriously.

What's funny is that I'm old enough that I should have remembered that ad (really, how could one forget?).

I'm always surprised to see that they're still around...sort of like opening a random box in the garage and thinking "Wow - I forgot I had this stuff!"
